Royce Freeman, Denver Broncos vs. Tennessee Titans
Using Freeman has been tricky this season since the Phillip Lindsay has been getting about 51 percent of the carries, and Freeman has been getting around 40 percent. Freeman is also averaging 50.0 yards per game so it’s enough to string his owners along but he has no rushing touchdowns. Freeman and Lindsay are catching the same amount but Lindsay has a greater YAC average (8.9) compared to Freeman (6.7). Linsday’s nose for the end zone gives him the edge though and both players’ ceilings is in the flex range.
The Titans have yet to allow a running back to catch a touchdown and just two have rushed one in and both of them were backup backs that no one had a chance of starting. Lindsay has his work cut out for him but as the more effective player, we’ll lean on Lindsay being able to get some flex points over Freeman.
