The 2019 NFL season is now 7 weeks old and there is still enough time to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire wide receivers for Week 8.

Kenny Stills, WR, Houston Texans

Will Fuller left Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts very early, and Stills stepped in as Houston’s deep threat with four catches for 105 yards (on five targets) as he played 61 snaps (94 percent). Fuller is expected to miss several weeks, so Stills will fill the role until further notice.

The Texans’ next two opponents, the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars, entered Week 7 allowing the seventh and 14th-most fantasy points to wide receivers respectively (Yahoo! PPR scoring). After a Week 10 bye, the Baltimore Ravens (Week 11) and the Colts (Week 12) went into Week 7 in the bottom half of the league against wide receivers.

Stills’ upside is not as good in PPR formats, but the role he’s stepping into is notable and catching passes from Deshaun Watson is a point in his corner. He’s quite possibly the No. 1 wide receiver add for Week 8.
