Darrel Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

With Damien Williams (knee) out and LeSean McCoy (ankle) operating at less than full capacity, Williams had nine carries for 62 yards along with five receptions for 47 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. Preseason darling Darwin Thompson played just eight percent of the snaps against Baltimore, while Williams (the healthy one) played 55 percent.

The range of outcomes heading into Week 4 against the Detroit Lions is high for Darrel Williams. If Damien Williams is out again, he’s in line for enough touches to be a flex play in leagues of 12 teams and larger. If McCoy is also out, then there’s legit RB2 upside in all formats. But if both Williams (Damien) and McCoy play, then his workload evaporates.

All things considered, this Williams is well-worth a speculative add in all applicable leagues.
