The 2019 NFL season is just 3 weeks old and the time is now to start picking up people from their fantasy football waiver wire and hoping they can help you secure a playoff spot. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire Quarterbacks for Week 4.

Jacoby Brissett, QB, Indianapolis Colts

Brissett completed his first 16 passes Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, on his way to going 28-for-37 for 310 yards and two touchdowns. He now has multiple passing touchdowns in all three games this season, with just one interception in 92 attempts.

Brissett has a nice matchup in Week 4, as the Oakland Raiders entered Week 3 allowing the most passing yards (355.5 per game) and the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring). Then the Kansas City Chiefs are on the docket in Week 5, in a game where passing volume will be necessary. Coming out of a Week 5 bye, Week 7-Week 10 don’t look especially tough either (Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins).

Brissett is a solid streamer for Week 2, particularly in two-quarterback leagues. Beyond that he is shaping up to be a legit QB2 with occasional QB1 upside in 12-team leagues.
