The 2019 NFL season is 3 weeks old and there is still enough time to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire wide receivers for Week 4.

Phillip Dorsett, WR, New England Patriots

Dorsett had six catches for 53 yards and a touchdown against the New York Jets on Sunday, as Julian Edelman suffered a chest injury and Josh Gordon got banged up a couple times in the game. The absence of Antonio Brown was also notable, as Dorsett has three touchdowns in the two games the Patriots have played without Brown thus far.

Edelman may have been held out on Sunday due to the Patriots having the game in hand, but if were to miss any time Dorsett would be a beneficiary. A fairly tough matchup is coming against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4, but whoever avoids the coverage of cornerback Tre’Davious White on a regular basis (Dorsett included) would find the sledding less difficult. Then with the Washington Redskins, New York Giants and the Jets again from Week 5-Week 7, some very good matchups are coming.

Dorsett probably needs to score to register big fantasy days. But any even reasonably significant piece of the New England offense is on the fantasy radar, and Dorsett should be added in leagues of 12 teams or more.
