The 2019 NFL season is just 2 weeks old and time is running out to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire tight ends for Week 3.

Will Dissly, TE, Seattle Seahawks

Dissly had five receptions for 50 yards and two touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2, as he came in third on the Seahawks in targets with five.

If you think we’ve been here before with Dissly, you’d be right. He had a 100-yard game in Week of 2018, then had a touchdown in Week 2 to further bolster his case as a fantasy waiver wire add. He followed that with one catch for four yards in Week 3 and one catch for five yards in Week 4, before missing the rest of the season with a torn patella tendon. It’s worth noting there was some issue with that injured knee heading into Week 2.

But in the broader context of a shallow tight end position, and a decent schedule from Week 3-Week 6 (New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns), Dissly is worth a look on the waiver wire this week.
