Chris Thompson, RB, Washington Redskins

Thompson had three carries for 10 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, but most importantly he had seven receptions (on 10 targets) for 68 yards in the game.

Thompson clearly operates as Washington’s passing down back, with at least 35 catches in each of the last four full seasons. So as the team operates with negative game scripts or just tries to keep pace this year, that lines him up for plenty of work.

Thompson could very easily flirt with RB2 value in PPR leagues on a weekly basis. And as a nod to fantasy owners avoiding the Redskins’ offense as a whole in drafts and auctions, he’s very widely available.
