The 2019 NFL season is now 12 weeks old and time is running out to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.
Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire tight ends for Week 13.
Ryan Griffin, TE, New York Jets
With only three catches for 13 yards in a very favorable matchup against the Oakland Raiders, Griffin needed a touchdown to register a solid fantasy day. But he has scored in back-to-back games, with at least 50 yards and/or a touchdown in five of the last seven games.
Griffin is set to keep the good times rolling, with get-able matchups against the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins over the next two weeks. Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens looks downright stifling, before another good matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16.
Griffin has been a solid TE1 for most of the last several weeks, however below the radar. Simply, he needs to be owned in way more leagues with Sam Darnold playing well.
