Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans
Tannehill only threw the ball 19 times against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10, but he completed 13 for 181 yards and two touchdowns while adding 37 rushing yards. He has posted at least 18.9 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in three of four starts since taking over for Marcus Mariota.
Tennessee has a bye in Week 11, so Tannehill will obviously not be usable. Week 12 and Week 13 are middling matchups, against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts, but after that his schedule gets soft.
The Oakland Raiders (Week 14) entered Week 10 allowing the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, followed by the Houston Texans (ninth-most) and New Orleans Saints (12th-most) in Week 15 and Week 16. If Week 17 matters in your league, Tannehill will get the Texans again.
Tannehill is worth adding as a QB2 in 12 and 14-team leagues, even with having to sit on him this week. He’s set to be a difference maker in the fantasy playoffs.
