The 2019 NFL season is now 10 weeks old and the time is now to start picking up people from their fantasy football waiver wire and hoping they can help you secure a playoff spot. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire Quarterbacks for Week 11.

Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders

Carr was solid but unspectacular against the Los Angeles Chargers last Thursday night, going 21-for 31 for 218 yards and one touchdown. His streak of multiple passing touchdown games ended at three, but the Raiders’ signal caller is in line to start a new streak in Week 11.

The Cincinnati Bengals entered Week 10 allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring), before Lamar Jackson ripped them for 288 total yards and four total touchdowns on his way to 33.42 fantasy points. Then Carr gets favorable-looking matchups against the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans from Week 12-Week 14.

One issue for Carr is volume, as he has topped 35 attempts in game just once all season. But he didn’t need volume to top 280 passing yards in three straight games prior to Week 10, and his next four matchups are burnable. Add him and easily fire him up as no less than a QB2 in 12 and 14-team leagues over that stretch.
