Cleveland Browns, D/ST

The Browns had a decent matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10, but delivered just two fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) while allowing 14 points with one sack and no takeaways. Anyone thinking of this unit as a good fantasy streamer over the last two weeks has been left holding the bag. But there’s another opportunity in Week 11 on a short week.

Over their last two games, the Pittsburgh Steelers have ceded almost as many fantasy points per game (13.5, Yahoo! scoring) to an opposing defense as they have averaged scoring as an offense (15.5 points per game). That includes surrendering a safety in each game, with multiple giveaways in both and four total sacks ceded.

The Steelers are in line to get running back James Conner (shoulder) back on Thursday night, which will obviously help their cause. But the breadth of his role feels up in the air, and overall Pittsburgh’s offense is beatable. The Browns shouldn’t have much trouble keeping the point total down, if nothing else, and that provides a safe enough floor to make this defense a viable streamer for Week 11.
