The 2019 NFL season is now 9 weeks old and time is running out to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire tight ends for Week 10.

Mike Gesicki, TE, Miami Dolphins

Gesicki had six catches (on six targets) for 95 yards against the New York Jets in Week 9. He has now topped 40 yards in three of his last four games, with more than eight fantasy points (full-point PPR) in all three of those contests. The Dolphins lost wide receiver Preston Williams for the season due to a knee injury, so the second-year tight end’s role is in line to grow further. Just in time for a good matchup in Week 10 too.

The Indianapolis Colts are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season (Yahoo! PPR scoring). In seven of eight games, an individual tight end has posted at least four catches against them. Six tight ends have reached double-digit fantasy points as well (full-point PPR).

One particularly good game is enough to put Gesicki on the streaming radar for Week 10. But he’s also got a promising outlook, so he’s got a  solid case as the top tight end add this week.
