Martavis Bryant, WR, Oakland Raiders vs Indianapolis Colts
DK Price: $3,700
The counterpart to my favorite ugly stack this week, Martavis Bryant, could see a boost in production in the Raiders first week of life without Amari Cooper.
Bryant has been largely unreliable this season as has most of the Raiders offense, but he still offers plenty of big game potential. Bryant was able to turn only 3 receptions into 91 yards as recent as Week 5 and now slides in as the teams WR2 opposite Jordy Nelson. The loss of Marshawn Lynch in the backfield also could work in favor of a more pass heavy approach going forward.
While the Colts haven’t been a complete abomination when it comes to defending wideouts this season, they also haven’t completely shut them down either. More specifically, the Colts have allowed some solid games this season to WR2 types such as Keke Coutee (Week 4, 11/109), Jermaine Kearse (Week 6, 9/94) and even Terrelle Pryor (Week 6, 5/57/1).
As mentioned before, Carr and Bryant aren’t the sexiest stack of the week, but there is big game potential there and the lineup you can create around them makes for a pretty solid roster.
