Willie Snead, WR, Baltimore Ravens vs New Orleans Saints
DK Price: $4,000
This is a great week to have a “Need for Snead” as the Ravens host a Saints defense that has been slapped silly by wideouts all season. No one is giving up as many fantasy points to wideouts this season as the Saints. They’re allowing an average of 229 yards and 2 TD’s per game to wide receivers this season.
Snead has quietly been a steady contributor in one of the most underrated trio’s of wideouts in the league. Snead is tied with Michael Crabtree with a team leading 30 receptions and is only 30 yards and 1 TD behind Crabtree this season as well. While Crabtree broke out with a TD last week and John Brown has seen a few big games already this season, it could be Snead’s time to shine.
Snead is a great value considering the even nature of pass distribution on this offense and the fact that he comes at a $1,700 discount compared to John Brown this week. The Saints have been so bad against wide receivers that there should be plenty of room for more than one of these guys to go off this week. Don’t lose that lovin’ feeling, Snead is locked and loaded as a high upside WR3 this week that just might take your breath away.
